Anyone who has ever read my "About" page's list of jobs has seen the two words "bacon pimp." They're not a lie. As a Mario Batali devotee, I have take his suggestion and chosen to send gifts from The Grateful Palate's Bacon of the Month Club. Which is why I am thankful for Jason Kottke's link to Bacontarian. How fortuitous a find after a night headlined by my tasty re-interpretation of Batali's Bucatini All'Amatriciana (which makes great use of the classic Italian pork products guanciale or pancetta and which of course works beautifully with some sauteed shallots!).
